Every Shabbos table boasts a goblet of wine and two loaves of bread - Challah. Why do we have two loaves of bread? Our Parsha teaches that, in the desert, G-d gave our ancestors a daily portion of Manna. On Friday he gave them two portions, one for Friday the other for Shabbos. We mark this miracle by placing two loaves of bread on our Shabbos table. more »

It was a 200-meter race and the contestants gathered at the start line were anxiously anticipating the starting gun. Yossi had trained for months and was confident in his ability to win. At the crack of the gun Yossi was off and quickly established a comfortable lead.
